Virtual chocolate tasting events have grown in popularity and are a great way to connect with friends and family from across the US or even around the world. They also make great team building events to build camaraderie as people continue to work remotely. With a virtual chocolate tasting event, you can connect with your coworkers in a new and different way.
At a virtual chocolate tasting event, our featured bean-to-bar chocolates at Cococlectic are front and center. These decadent chocolate bars are made in the US by small-batch craft chocolate makers with just three main ingredients: cacao beans, sugar and cocoa butter.
This unique virtual chocolate tasting experience is something you and your friends and family or coworkers will remember for years to come. Join us for a chocolate tasting party that will tap into your taste buds and take you on a culinary journey unlike any other.
So what is a virtual chocolate tasting? It’s an event held through an online platform like Zoom that brings you and your guests together over a shared loved of chocolate.
At Cococlectic’s interactive virtual chocolate tasting events, a culinary professional leads you and your guests in the following:
- Tasting four different, decadent craft chocolate bars from our featured chocolate maker of the month.
- Learning how chocolate is made in the bean-to-bar process.
- Discovering how flavor is developed.
- Tasting and discussing each bar’s flavors and aromas.
Encourage your guests to participate by asking questions and sharing their thoughts about each piece of chocolate. Invite them to really consider the chocolate and its flavors by smelling it, feeling it, and looking at it before breaking off a piece to savor.
With Cococlectic, chocolate tastings are simple and easy to plan. You can meet virtually with people from anywhere. Whether you are planning a team building party, a holiday gathering, a birthday party or a family reunion, we are happy to customize an event to fit your needs.
Benefits of chocolate tasting events include the following:
- A fun and interactive experience;
- A world-class learning experience with a culinary and chocolate expert; and
- An informal atmosphere where you can connect with others.
Prior to the virtual tasting event, you’ll receive Cococlectic’s virtual tasting kit/box that includes the following:
- 4 full-size chocolate bars;
- A personal note (optional);
- A set of tasting notes;
- A how-to taste guide;
- A tasting sheet; and
- Regular domestic shipping.
The chocolate tasting event lasts for 45 minutes and is hosted on Zoom or other platform of your choice. Our chocolate expert at Cococlectic will lead everyone in your group through a guided tasting of the full-size chocolate bars in the box.
For your virtual chocolate tasting event, Cococlectic can host a minimum of 20 people per session at $50 per person. Regular shipping to locations in the US is included in this cost. Discounts are available for groups of over 100. We can accommodate as many people as your platform can host. We’ve hosted over 450 people at one time.
If you have fewer than 20 people, we can still host your group, but we have a minimum spend of $1,000 per group. If this doesn’t work, we can also send your group a chocolate tasting kit for you to do a self-guided chocolate tasting.
To ship chocolate bars to cities where the weather is above 80°F, we will have to add ice packs to the packaging to keep the chocolate from melting, which will add an additional cost to each chocolate box.
We can suggest pairings such as wine, coffee, chocolate truffles and more, and we can add those items to your chocolate box upon request.
At Cococlectic, we feature American small-batch bean-to-bar chocolate makers. Each month, we showcase craft dark chocolate bars from a different chocolate maker. They are all passionate about their products and create their chocolate bars from scratch using only three main ingredients: cacao beans, sugar and cocoa butter.
Our chocolates are vegan, non-GMO, fair-trade and ethically sourced. They do not contain any soy, gluten, dairy or nut, but they may be produced in a facility that handles these ingredients.
Sign up for a chocolate-of-the-month subscription club and join us for a free virtual chocolate tasting with our featured chocolate maker of the month.
